CLAY SCULPTURES

The Forest School Club which includes children from 4-11 years were given very basic instructions, some super sensory clay and told to find a tree and start creating.

Ben is squashing and squeezing the clay to create a face.

Summer and Jemma are working as a team; sharing ideas for their unique sculpture.

Jamie told me, “Working with Coby was awesome.”

Ashton and his partner knew what they wanted to create straight away. “We’re making a Unicorn, we’ve been learning about mythical creatures in our topic ‘Myths and Legends’.

Herbie decided to include the tree trunk in his clay face.

“It makes the face look scary and fierce.”

The school grounds provided a wealth

of natural materials to add to the

clay sculptures. You decide – Friend

or Foe?
