Mill Hill Community Primary School is a continually developing school. We are proud of our achievements and are always working to do even better for our children. This was reflected in the Ofsted report in May 2015. The report said that Mill Hill is an good school. The report highlighted the following positive aspects of the school:
‘A happy school where pupils thrive and parents feel welcome’ and where, ‘the balance of academic and personal care given to pupils is seamless and impressive.’
Pupils behave well and the school’s work to keep them safe is good.’
‘This is a good and improving school because since the previous inspection pupils’ progress has accelerated. Pupils now achieve well. As a result, standards attained by pupils at the end of Key Stages 1 and 2 have risen, especially in mathematics and writing.’
The strong and purposeful leadership given by the headteachers and governing body provide a clear direction for further development.’
As a school we are continuing to work on the raising of standards, ensuring all of our children make appropriate progress to become resilient members of the community. Our children are creative, inspirational and caring and together we achieve the extraordinary.
Parents and the extended community are always welcome. Visitors to our school often comment on the purposeful working environment and the warm welcome they receive.
